Principals
Alton Tangedal,
M.Arch., SAA, MRAIC
Alton received his Masters
Degree
of Architecture from Montana State University in 1985.
Since that time, he has worked in both the public and private
sectors, giving him a thorough understanding of all client bases.
Alton is responsible for
all components of the corporation’s business from new client
development to tender document production and on-site coordination.
Kurt Dietrich,
Dipl.AT., Dipl.Arch.,
SAA, MRAIC
Kurt has worked extensively in the public and
private sectors of the construction industry. He began his
professional career in Ottawa, working as a design team member on
the Speaker's Chambers on Parliament Hill. He has worked
throughout Saskatchewan on a wide variety of projects during the
past 24 years.

John McGinn,
M.Arch., SAA, MAA,AAA, AIBC,
MRAIC
John offers a wide range of
experience in all facets of the architectural field. John
has more than 19 years experience in performing tasks of;
chief design architect, principal in charge and managing
partner. He lends from a full range of construction delivery
method experience including; stipulated price contracts,
construction management, 3rd party overview and design build
processes.
Sandra Tangedal,
Office Manager / Partner
Sandra graduated from the Saskatchewan Technical
Institute in 1985 with a diploma in accounting.
Since that time she has worked
for the federal government until starting with the firm full
time in 2001. Sandra is responsible for all aspects of the
office management, including preparation of project
administration documents and contracts and the financial
administration of the company.
Tony Muller,
Senior
Architectural Technologist
Tony graduated from NAIT in 1998
with a diploma in Architectural Technology. He has over 10
years of experience in the architectural field. Tony is an
aggressive, results oriented team member. He provides a high
level of technical detail and strong coordination skills to
each project. Tony provides consultant coordination and
control throughout the construction document preparation by
establishing a strong organizational framework for the team
based on common goals.
Alice Davidson,
Architectural Assistant
Alice is a Graduate of
Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Interior Design) from the
University of Manitoba. A member of our permanent
staff contingent, Alice has previous experience in the
production and documentation of building fixtures. She
brings an Interior Design Component to the capabilities of
the organization with added skills and interests in the
field of furnishings and industrial design.
Melissa Janczyszyn,
Intermediate Architectural
Technologist
Melissa has worked with
Alton Tangedal Architect Ltd. since her first of three work
terms starting in the summer of 2004.
She has been engaged since her
graduation from SIAST as a full time permanent employee.
She is a valued team member and
possesses skill in AutoCAD drawing production and meticulous
compliance to office or owner standards as they relate to
drawings and AutoCAD files.
Her main role with regard to
this contract will be drawing production and information
gathering.
Lindsey Schmidt,
Junior
Architectural Technologist
Lindsey is our newest permanent staff
member in the technology section of the firm. She has
experience in graphic development and construction
detailing, working in both Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Lindsey's skills will be essential in the development of our
technology base and document production.
Julie MacGowan,
Intermediate
Architectural Technologist
Julie’s main role is to establish and
maintain quality control and continuity of drawings and
specifications.
She provides the technical
knowledge required to successfully complete construction
documents for
tendering purposes.
With a broad base of work
experience, Julie is be a valued asset to this organization.
